UPDATE etc 25/08/11
At last an update after nearly a year.
I have been busy getting married and buying a house, among other things.
Although there have been some occasional updates via Facebook and Myspace.
First of all, there has been a slight alteration with the design of this
website. I have got rid of the text boxes. I was finding them not terribly
efficient to update and I didn't think they looked all that good. It was
a bit of a rushed idea anyway. The other change is that we've gotten rid
of the guestbook. We haven't been unable to access it for a while. Not
to mention that the likes of Facebook have made guestbooks more or less
obsolete. I hope to add a few more album reviews in the near future.
As for other Unsilence activity, it's been limited to writing the next
album, largely due to having no permanent drummer. We have all the raw
material for it written. We just need to arrange it finish the lyrics.
We hope to record it next year but there isn't a deadline.
We still haven't found a permanent drummer. We did audition a few but
none were suitable. However, our former drummer, Jonathon has agreed to
session for us on the recording of the next album unless we find a new
drummer. A few gigs aren't out of the question too.
We also plan to expand our prescense on the social networking sites. We
plan to start a Facebook group as opposed to the page that we have right
now. We also hope to do more with our Last FM page, although we are a
bit stuck in that area right now. The page was created by a friend a few
years ago, before we'd ever heard of Last FM. Right now he's trying to
find the password he used so that we can take control. We're also looking
into other music and social network sites. Stay tuned. (Kieron).

We have updated the merchandise page. We now have some new T-shirts with

DOOM
SHALL RISE UPDATE. (02/04/10)
The schedual for the Doom Shall Rise festival has now been announced.
We will be playing on Saturday April 10th at 16.50. To see the full line-up,

NEW
T-SHIRTS. (02/04/10)
We will soon have some new T-shirts available, hopefully in time for Doom
Shall Rise. They will be a one-sided colour print based around the cover
artwork for the Under A Torn Sky album. Look out for a merchandise
page update soon.
UNDER
A TORN SKY TO BE RELEASED ON VINYL (02/04/10).
Our Under A Torn Sky album will see a vinyl release on a new label
of the Greek based Labyrinth Of Thoughts distribution. We aim to have
it released during May. And we'll have some copies to sell. An update
will follow when everything has been finalised.
SOME
OLD SONGS UPLOADED TO THE MYSPACE PAGE (16/03/10).
A few old songs have now been uploaded to the Myspace page. The first
is the title track of our A Walk Through Oceans MCD from 2002. The second
is the live favorite, The Gallery, from our Transfiguration MCD of 2000.
Both these tracks were previously downloadable as mp3s from the website
for many years. The third track, from all the way back to 1995, is the
title track of our An Unfinished Chapter demo. I would imagine many of
you would have never heard this one before. It'll give you an insight

OF METAL INTERVIEW (10/03/10).
A new interview with the Dutch based Lords Of Metal Webzine is now up

UNSILENCE
TO PLAY DOOM SHALL RISE (31/12/09).
We will be playing at the next edition of Doom Shall Rise, which takes
place at the Chapel in Göppingen, Germany on April 9th and 10th. It's
not yet confirmed which day or time we shall be playing. For more info,

page. This year's edition will feature 40 WATT SUN (ex-WARNING), ARGUS,
DOOMSHINE, MOURNING BELOVETH, NOMAD SUN, ORODRUIN, RITUALS OF THE OAK,
and others. Sounds like a killer bill that we're only too proud to be
a part of. As some of you might remember, we were due to play at Doom
Shall Rise in 2005. But we were forced to cancel due to the departure
of our vocalist Andrew Hodson.
